Ariel graduated from UW – Stevens Point in 2016 with their Bachelor’s in biology initially intending to pursue a career in wildlife rehabilitation. After a short time working as a zookeeper in Minocqua, they moved back to Madison and rediscovered their passion for veterinary medicine in 2018 while working at a general practice vet clinic. Ariel enrolled in the hybrid Veterinary Technician program at Madison College while working full time and graduated in December of 2021 before getting certified the following spring. Ariel is a Midwestern native and shares their home with their husband, four cats, a ball python, one crested gecko, one leopard gecko, and a 40-gallon tank of fish and shrimp. In their free time, Ariel loves reading, cooking, staying physically active, and spending time with their friends and family.
