Hank Clemmons, DVM Dr. Hank Clemmons graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. He moved to McFarland and started his own equine practice in 1987. In 1991 Dr. Clemmons opened Spartan Animal Hospital in a small storefront, and expanded to its current location in 2004. Dr. Clemmons enjoys taking care of the area's pets and getting to know the people they bring with them. Dr. Clemmons has continued to work with horses with an emphasis on show horse sports medicine. He lives with his wife Janine, dogs Bell and Raven, Steve the cat and an African Grey parrot named Birdy. |

Michael Wenninger,
DVM Dr. Michael Wenninger graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Following graduation he moved to eastern Pennsylvania where he worked at two advanced veterinary hospitals before relocating back to his home state of Wisconsin. Dr. Wenninger enjoys the challenges of veterinary medicine with special interests in surgery, internal medicine and exotic animal medicine. Dr. Wenninger resides with his wife Amanda and son Maxwell. Together the Wenninger family has dogs (Remmy, Gypsy, Emma), cat (Willie), a blue and gold macaw (BG), and a large group of reticulated pythons. In his free time, Dr. Wenninger enjoys outdoor activities, visiting zoos, and most of all, spending time with his family. |
Mackenzie Vermey, DVMAs a young girl, Dr. Mackenzie Vermey always knew that one day she would become a veterinarian. While attending Carroll University for her undergraduate degree, she worked as a veterinary technician in a small animal practice. She received her degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Dr. Mackenzie has been a member of the veterinary profession for since 1998. Her special interests are soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, internal medicine, exotic and avian medicine. Dr. Mackenzie and her husband Jason enjoy hiking and camping with their two coonhounds, Jethro and Ellie. They also have a cat named Larry and a thoroughbred gelding named Blake that Mackenzie uses for hunter jumper showing. |

Fallon Ready, Office Manager Fallon is our Office Manager and has been with Spartan since 2003. After studying at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee she decided her interests lie in the veterinary field. Getting to know the patients and clients of Spartan is important to Fallon and her hard work and dedication to the hospital make her a valuable asset to the practice. Fallon resides in Fort Atkinson with her husband Pete and daughter Milan. She also shares her home with her dog Dax, Chase her house cat, several outdoor kitties as well as a pygmy goat, Ennis. Fallon enjoys spending time with family and friends, many outdoor activities, reading and travel. |

Kim Warnke, CVT Kim is our longest standing Certified Veterinary Technician. Kim graduated from the veterinary technician program at Madison Area Technical College in 2000, joining the Spartan Animal Hospital that year. Kim's dedication to the practice has enabled her to acquire the compassion and commitment to build long standing relationships with both patients and clients. She has an English Bulldog named Gypsy and two cats named Sweetie and Hermione. In her free time Kim enjoys spending time with her husband Scott, friends and family, reading and building her health and wellness business. |

Haley Sobczak, CVT Haley is our McFarland born and raised Certified Veterinary Technician. Haley has used the opportunity to know our clients on a personal and professional level. Haley first started working at Spartan Animal Hospital in high school as cleaner, then after her experience with Spartan - enrolled in Madison Area Technical College's veterinary technician program. Haley graduated from the program in 2003 and joined Spartan as a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2004. Haley currently resides in Stoughton with her husband Dan and son Cameron. Haley and her family are lovers of all species great and small. They currently have two cats, two salamanders, one Senegal parrot, one lovebird and one fish. In her free time Haley enjoys camping, taking walks, reading and spending time with family and friends. |

Lindsey Healy, CVT Lindsey has been a member of Spartan Animal Hospital team since April 2009. Lindsey is a 2009 graduate of Madison Area Technical College's veterinary technician program where she developed a special interest in animal behavior and nutrition. Lindsey lives in Jefferson with her daughters Isabella and Mia. She has a dog named Fletcher and two cats, Cleopatra and Oliver. |

Shannon Blaska, Receptionist Shannon has been a member of the Spartan team since 2008. Shannon takes care of the front desk and client relations for Spartan. Shannon has studied at Madison Area Technical College. She resides with her husband Jared in Marshall. She loves animals and enjoys the company of her cats, Duchess and Seymore and her dog, Stella. She also enjoys reading, boating and jet-skiing. |

Tammi Walsh, VT Tammi has been with the clinic since early 2012. She graduated from the Globe University Veterinary Technician program in 2009. Her special interests are client education and surgery. Outside of work Tammi enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves sports such as sand volleyball and watching her favorite team, the Packers. |
